Microsoft Azure Training 36 – Azure Cloud Services – Part 5 – Cloud Services Caching (Exam 70-533)
This is the Part 5 of Azure Cloud Services series. In this session I discuss about Cloud Service’s caching feature called In-Role cache; a caching mechanism specific to Azure Cloud Services. I go in details about what In-Role caching is and the 3 key concepts of it; Cache Cluster, Named Cache and Cache Client. I further divulge into providing information on the 2 deployment topologies of In-Role cache, the Co-located Role and Dedicated Role. A demonstration is provided at the end to show how the In-Role caching is enabled and configured from Visual Studio.
